An experienced manager of professional education programs who is focused on designing degrees that help adult students find careers
The 21st-century workforce needs people who have soft skills that complement strong technical skills. I transformed a traditional Communication program into three specializations in Communication, Public Relations, and Healthcare Communication to educate students in the knowledge, skills, and abilities that drive their careers in diverse organizations.
The specializations stand on a groundbreaking group of classes. Combining state-of-the-art theory in management and global communications with an interdisciplinary approach that brings in Management Information Systems, Public Relations, and Marketing, the specialization group offers undergraduates a hands-on approach to managing information, relationships, and communication in 21st-century organizations.
